The Mardi Himal Trek is a hidden gem in the Annapurna region, offering stunning views of Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli. Known for its off-the-beaten-path charm, this trek provides a quieter alternative to the more crowded Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill treks.

Ideal for beginners and adventure seekers alike, the trail winds through traditional Gurung villages, enchanting rhododendron forests, and alpine landscapes. The highlight of the trek is reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), where the mountains feel incredibly close and breathtaking.

🗺️ Suggested Itinerary (7 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Meet & greet at the airport. Hotel transfer and trek briefing.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (820m) – 6–7 hrs

Enjoy the scenic ride to the beautiful lakeside city. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive to Kande & Trek to Deurali (2,100m) – 4 hrs

Short drive followed by a gentle trek through forest trails and villages.

Day 4: Trek to Low Camp (2,970m) – 5 hrs

Walk through rhododendron forests with views of Machapuchare.

Day 5: Trek to High Camp (3,580m) – 4 hrs

Trail gets steeper, but the mountain views become more spectacular.

Day 6: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) & back to Low Camp – 6–7 hrs

Early morning hike for sunrise and incredible panoramic views.

Day 7: Trek to Sidhing & Drive to Pokhara – 4 hrs trek + 2 hrs drive

Trek downhill through local villages and take a jeep back to Pokhara.

Optional: Return to Kathmandu on the same day or next day.
