The Lower Dolpo Trek is a hidden gem in western Nepal, offering a raw and untouched trekking experience in the remote Himalayan wilderness. Isolated from the modern world, this trek takes you through arid landscapes, ancient Bon and Buddhist monasteries, and traditional Tibetan-style villages. The region is also home to Shey Phoksundo Lake, one of the most beautiful and deepest lakes in Nepal.
Known for its rugged beauty and cultural authenticity, the trek offers an adventurous journey through Shey Phoksundo National Park, rare wildlife sightings (like blue sheep and snow leopards), and high mountain passes such as Numa La (5,190m) and Bagala La (5,170m).
