Unlike the Upper Mustang trek, Lower Mustang is more accessible, requiring no special restricted area permit, and can be done year-round due to its dry climate.

🗺️ Suggested Itinerary (9 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Meet & greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Drive or fly to Pokhara

Explore lakeside city and relax before the trek.

Day 3: Fly to Jomsom, Trek to Kagbeni (2,810m) – 3-4 hrs

Enjoy views of the Kali Gandaki Gorge and Tibetan-style villages.

Day 4: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m) – 5 hrs

Visit the sacred temple and witness the eternal flame.

Day 5: Trek to Marpha (2,670m) – 5-6 hrs

Descend through Jharkot and Jomsom; visit Marpha, the apple capital of Nepal.

Day 6: Trek to Kalopani (2,530m) – 6 hrs

Scenic walk through pine forests and Thakali villages.

Day 7: Drive to Tatopani, relax in natural hot springs

Unwind and soak in the healing waters of Tatopani.

Day 8: Drive back to Pokhara

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Kali Gandaki River.

Day 9: Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu – End of Trek
