🏔️ 13-Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu by private car.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Tikhedhunga (1,623m)

Walking Distance: 9.2 km
Duration: 3.3 hours

Early morning (6:00 AM), drive to the domestic airport with your guide and board a 30-minute flight to Pokhara. Then, enjoy a 2-hour drive to Nayapul — the trek starting point. After a 30-minute walk, you’ll reach the TIMS and ACAP check post for permit verification. Continue trekking through villages along the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola, gradually ascending to Hille (1,495m) and finally reaching Tikhedhunga (1,570m).

Day 3: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,850m)

Distance: 12.9 km
Duration: 6.5 hours

After breakfast, begin your ascent through Tikhedhunga and Ulleri (2,070m), a charming Magar village. Trek through lush oak and rhododendron forests to Banthanti (2,250m), then continue uphill to the beautiful village of Ghorepani (2,840m).

Day 4: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m), then to Tadapani (2,610m)

Distance: 11.2 km
Duration: 6 hours

Start early for a sunrise hike to Poon Hill, the best panoramic viewpoint of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After sunrise, descend to Ghorepani for breakfast. Continue trekking through scenic rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,690m), and after a short uphill walk, arrive at Tadapani (2,610m).

Day 5: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,140m) to Sinuwa (2,300m)

Distance: 13 km
Duration: 7 hours

Descend through beautiful rhododendron forests and traditional Gurung villages to Chhomrong. After lunch, ascend to Sinuwa, a peaceful village offering mountain views.
Overnight stay at hotel in Sinuwa.


Day 6: Sinuwa to Deurali (3,200m)

Distance: 10.9 km
Duration: 6.5 hours

Descend to the Chhomrong Khola river and ascend through Khuldighar (former ACAP check post). Trek through lush forest and pass through Dovan and the Himalayan Hotel (2,900m), continuing gradually uphill to Deurali.

Day 7: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

Distance: 16 km
Duration: 8 hours

Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where you’ll have lunch and rest briefly. Then continue your trek to the final destination — Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Enjoy a spectacular sunset and panoramic views of the Himalayan giants.

Day 8: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,300m)

Distance: 13.5 km
Duration: 6 hours

After an unforgettable morning surrounded by mountains, begin your descent via the same trail. Trek down along the Modi Khola to reach Bamboo village.

Day 9: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,740m)

Distance: 11.7 km
Duration: 6 hours

Ascend to Kuldi Ghar, pass through Sinuwa, then descend to Lower and Upper Chhomrong. Continue descending steeply to Jhinu Danda, known for its natural hot springs — just a 20-minute walk from the village.

Day 10: Jhinu Danda to Pokhara (817m)

After breakfast, take a 4-hour Jeep ride back to Pokhara. Check in at your hotel near Lakeside and enjoy a relaxing evening in this lakeside town.

Day 11: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,400m)

Flight Duration: 30 minutes

Early morning transfer to Pokhara Airport (20-minute drive), followed by a scenic 30-minute flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Begin at 6:30 AM with a 20-minute drive to visit the sacred Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), then head to the iconic Boudhanath Stupa and historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. Tour ends in the afternoon.

Day 13: Departure

Our team will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
